The causes of acne can be related to being a teenager, such as raging hormones and puberty. However, some causes are related to gender, genetics, and skin type.

Young men may need to wash their faces more than once a day to control the acne caused by hormones and puberty.

3. Teen acne problems occur more often than most other forms of acne, in any other stage of life. It is a period in human development where frequent changes happen to the body, especially in case of gender related developments. In some more severe cases of acne, antibiotics and photo therapy may be needed. Blocked pores are a perfect place for bacteria to grow. This causes pain inflammation and infection.

4. Oil blotters and mattifiers are a great way to take care of excess oil on the face cosmetically. However, they also control excess oil by removing it from the face, preventing blocked pores. These items are becoming more popular and can be used frequently through out the day with out smudging make-up.

It is possible for the jaw to move open and close with ease thanks to the TMJ or Temporomandibular joint. What you are dealing with in this case is a small disc of cartilage that works as it connects the temporal bone or the bone that forms the sides of your skull to the mandible or the jaw. TMJ benefits allow the jaw to slide such that it allows you to chew, swallow and talk without too much effort. More information on the topic of dentistry is located at tmj treatment.

The dentist alone cannot help you with disorders about TMJ because they cover neuromuscular dentistry as well. When it comes to this, the dentist can act as an instrument to guide you if you are diagnosed with the problem.

Severe headaches or migraines are included when it comes to the symptoms of TMJ. What some people experience is ear pain especially during the morning and some of them even hear clicking and popping sounds whenever the mandible is moved to chew or simply to talk. Remember to give importance to proper health and dental care. Much pain can be experienced from a simple thing like the temporomandibular joint.

I follow skincare daily and seasonal news.   I’m sure that many of you do something similar.   When doing that, it is important to discriminate reliable from untrustworthy sources.   Major newspaper reporters are generally unbiased.  But, recently I had to disagree.

In the reporter’s defense, the product he recommended was a very good one.  It was just much too expensive.

The product is developed to lessen bags and puffiness under the eyes.  To its credit, it incorporates nourishing substances like marine algae that have been shown to promote growth and revitalize the fragile skin surrounding the eye.  The cost from Neiman Marcus was $145 for 1/2 Oz.

I use a very similar product.   It incorporates European substances called EYELISS and HALOXYL.  A recent study by an independent firm showed that claims made for those ingredients are absolutely true.   They enhance circulation of fluids, which makes bags under the eyes disappear over time.

Marine algae & wakame kelp (along with the poly-peptides included in EYELISS and HALOXYL) work to improve the skin’s thickness, which removes wrinkles.   The combo of greater fluid circulation and increased skin thickness serves to decrease dark circles.

I use an eye serum that comprises a total of 9 active components.  Because of this it should actually cost more than the cream mentioned in the latest skincare daily news.   Actually, it costs only $35.45 per half ounce.

The expensive balm costs over four times as much.   Yet the high-priced cream contains fewer active compounds.  What accounts for the difference in price?   One thing is that it is sold at Neiman Marcus.

Brick and mortar retail storefronts need to make a profit in order to stay in business.  The company probably pays $60 or $70 wholesale for the eye balm, which is still 2 times as much as what I pay for a better product.

Premium marketing contributes to the manufacturer’s cost.  Brand name major label skin care products cost a whole lot more simply because of the major advertising campaigns they run.

I have found that you get the best prices when you order natural skin care products online, primarily due to the fact they have far less overhead.   You don’t always get the most effective products.   That takes a little research.

The eye serum I use is manufactured by Xtendlife.   I make it a part of my skincare daily rituals.   Maybe you should, too.

You need to understand what acne is before you can address the problem, so please read on:

Acne is also called acne vulgaris and is not just a problem for teens, but for people between 10 and 40 years old. It is no discriminator of people…both males and women are equally affected. As a matter of fact, it is not uncommon for women to develop acne in their mid to late-20′s, even if they’ve never had it before.

Back Acne can show up as:  whiteheads, blackheads, pimples (affectionately knowns as zits), pustules, or cysts (really deep pimples, sometimes called boils).   Most of the commom places acne will show it’s ugly self is where your body is “oilest”- chin, chest, forehead, back…

There is NO ONE cause of zits. It is multifactorial. I think that is why a lot of so-called acne “remedies” don’t work in the long term. They address one factor, while neglecting the rest of them. Here are just a few of the contributing factors… hormones, adrenals, pressure, surroundings, diet, micro organism, irritation, heredity, cosmetics, medication… When a doctor is trying to treat the acne it is so important that he or she consider the whole body and not just the area with the acne, for the whole body contributes to these factors.

Having acne anywhere can be painful, not just physically but socially.  Too many times as a teenager I was left out of a lot of “groups/friendships because I had the nerd with zits look. .   The “zit doctor” helped a bit, but I got loaded up on antibiotics to get that help.

My parents felt sorry for me, I did see many doctors and things worked for a little while, however some had bad effects that left my skin all red and pealing…like that would make friends come a runnin…ha, no I was still a loser in my eyes.

I have heard horror stories of how antibiotics will not only destroy the bad bacteria, but all the good stuff too. The research shows that while antibiotics may help get rid of “symptoms”, it can do as much damage to other areas of the body at the same time! Great. Now, I read about these super bacteria which are resistant to antibiotics. There has to be another answer. There have to be acne treatments that work. Don’t worry, there is. I’ll get into that on my next post.

As you can tell this had been a horrible battle.  Acne is one tuff bugger because it’s out there on the front line, you can’t hide it and I would dare to say it is one of the first things people notice about you if you have acne. But, this back acne stuff is tough because of not only how it looks, but how it feels. Boils are no fun. If you are reading this because you have back acne, and you’ve experienced the cysts/boils, you know what I am talking about. It isn’t so much about how it looks, but how it feels…and it can feel very painful.
