Acne on Chin
Chin is the front part of face and if you get acne on chin then not only it is particularly painful, but it makes one look unattractive as well. Additionally, they may cause wounds that discharge pus, can cause scars and severe pain.
Chin acne is very common problem encountered throughout the world. Adults as well as teenagers suffer from it, though it is slightly more familiar in teenagers who are in the stage of puberty. Acne is caused when the skin pores that get clogged causing the growth of bacteria. These bacteria lead to swelling of skin causing acne. Don’t keep on touching your skin frequently as it worsens the acne. Also remember that acne is a life style problem. Hence following good living practices will prevent acne on chin from happening in the first place. So take a good balanced diet, drink as much water as you can, take regular exercise and sleep a minimum of 6 hours daily.
Some environmental factors like pollution are also responsible for chin acne. The diet you take, the clothes you wear, and the general hygiene you follow has a major influence regarding acne on chin. Before treatment it is very important to know one’s skin type – dry, oily or normal. Also consult your doctor and be aware of your medical history and any side effects before following any treatment especially in the case of topical medicines.
Sometimes acne on chin might not go by usual method i.e. applying cleansing creams and you may need to consult your dermatologist. In that case there are specific methods and therapies available for getting rid of your chin acne. In that case don’t panic. You just have to follow the prescriptions strictly. Also, if you have an option, it is advisable to go for natural therapy as it is the best route for treatment with no or very less side effects. Vitamin A derivatives are usually prescribed in the treatment of acne on chin.
